This April, campers will continue or start their journey around the world as we explore new regions, new martial traditions, and deeper training challenges inspired by the global roots of martial arts.

Each day, we’ll “travel” to a different country; China, the Philippines, Korea, Thailand, and Japan, diving into the culture, history, and martial arts that helped shape the system we train in today.

Both returning and new campers will experience the excitement of traveling to these countries, building off what was learned in the first World Tour Camp while diving deeper into techniques, movement, and strategy; it will be an entirely new experience, with fun nods to past adventures.

Campers will create their own World Tour passports (or bring back their originals!) and collect stamps as they progress through each country’s challenges, including warrior-style martial arts training, weapons and skill practice (with familiar tools and a few mystery ones!), movement and evasion skills like rolls and agility work, themed obstacle courses and team challenges, hands-on crafts and cultural projects, stories and traditions from around the world, and high-energy games designed to reinforce martial arts skills while keeping things exciting.

We can’t wait to travel the world again with your warrior in April 2026!

Inspired by Myth, Legend & the Dragon

Welcome to The Summer of Mythicality, our 2026 karate summer camp series where martial arts training meets myth, imagination, and adventure. While the Dragon, one of the Five Animals of Shaolin Kempo, serves as our central guide, campers will explore many mythical themes throughout the summer, drawing inspiration from legends, creatures, stories, and ancient traditions from around the world. Each camp is designed to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and help kids discover their own spark.

Campers won’t just attend a camp, they’ll step into a story.

What Is “Mythicality”?

“Mythicality” is the manner relating to myth and legends, specifically imaginary ways. It embraces the mix of playfulness, creativity, and curiosity.

Three Camps. One Mythical World.

Each camp is a stand-alone adventure, exploring different legends, themes, and challenges within the world of mythicality. Together, they create a connected summer-long journey—but campers can join for one, two, or all three camps.

No matter how many camps your child attends, they’ll find new adventures and activities to explore.

Who Is This Camp For?

✔️ Kids who love imagination, adventure, and movement
✔️ Beginners and experienced karate students
✔️ Ages 5-14
✔️ Families looking for a camp that fosters confidence, discipline, and creativity

This summer isn’t just about karate.
It’s about courage, growth, and imagination.
It’s about stepping into a story, and discovering your own strengths.

And the legend begins with you.

A Camp Built on Adventure and Imagination

Campers can expect a new adventure each day, some examples being;

Mythical Worlds & Characters
Campers will journey through stories inspired by legendary creatures, heroes, guardians, and myths from around the world. From powerful dragons to mysterious protectors, each theme invites campers to imagine, create, and explore.

Creativity & Storytelling
Through themed games, challenges, and creative activities, campers are encouraged to think outside the box, invent characters, and bring stories to life, ultimately building confidence and self-expression along the way.

Karate as the Hero’s Training
Shaolin Kempo karate is woven into the adventure as the training that prepares each camper for their quests. Students will practice balance, coordination, focus, and self-discipline in a fun, age-appropriate way.

Weapon Training, Quests & Physical Challenges
From martial arts weapons and obstacle courses to team quests and skill challenges, campers build coordination, respect, and perseverance while having a blast.

Teamwork, Confidence & Leadership
Mythical missions and group adventures help campers learn cooperation, leadership, and problem-solving-skills that carry far beyond the mat.
